"The point is... To live on regardless, I think. That's what every human does day to day."
Overview;
They are made up of the remains of three children who died in a disasterous accident near the St. Lazarus Orphanage involving an non-disarmed minefield.
Their bodies got donated to the Minpair Laboratories branch located in the town, which is how they ended up in the hands of Albert Morgenstern, Westley's father. He stitched what remained of the bodies together and somehow breathed life into the flesh.
Westley was born with knowledge of some basic skills, but most of the identities of the children who made them up were lost so that part they are creating basically from scratch.
They're raised by their father and their father's "best friend" who is also their godfather.
They live uptown in a wooden house that their father struggles to keep paying for. For awhile they didn't even have a bedframe, though their father still made sure they have a comfy place to sleep.
They're exciteable, observant and curious about everything about them. Very social aswell, craving interacting with others though having difficulties understanding social cues.
They like reading and watching things with a lot of lore to speculate and talk about. Their favourite gaming genre is metroidvania, though visual novels and rpgmaker games are up there too. They also really like making stuff with their hands.
Relationships;
Albert Morgenstern:
Their father. They love him a lot. They often tell him about stuff they enjoy and things that happened to them on a given day. He is also the parent they go to for comfort first out of the two. The only thing that they could complain about is he is sometimes a bit exessive in his protection of them, but they know he doesn't mean any harm by it.
Mike Addis:
Their godfather. They love him a lot. He's the "more fun" parent of the two, letting Westley do things Albert might have called too dangerous (within reason), so he's the one they go to if they wanna do something fun. He also gifted Westley a switchblade with their name engraved in it on their 13th birthday, it's one of their most treasured items.
Marianne Fairchild/Morgenstern:
Their adopted big sister. They love her a lot. They try their best to cheer her up when she's upset and help her during moments of dissosiation (either helping her focus again, or just being present until it goes on its own). They spend a lot of time together both inside and outside the home. They share a room, a bunk bed and a PC.
Elise Bellamy:
Their girlfriend. She was the first friend they made and she still means a lot to them. They often visit her house and walk her home after her afterschool activities. They also come to watche her gymnastics competitions. They spent a lot of time mulling over the crush they have on her and only registered that she reciprocated after she directly told them.
Kyro:
Their close friend and brother figure. They got him out of his former house by arguing with his creator while he gathered his things. They frequently go to see his band play at Sibiria. He is also the person they confide in if they don't feel like telling an adult.
Betty Gordon:
Their close friend. They were introduced to her through Elise. They often come to hang out at her house alongside everyone else. They also come to watch her sports competitions, be it ones with her team or solo.
Lisa Zimova:
Their friend. They like hanging around her and drawing with her. Lets her attempt to style their hair sometimes.
